Starfish are ocean stars mimicking the heavenly stars above.  They are ancient mysterious, incredibly sensitive creatures with many sensors and they have the ability to regenerate.

In the Christian myths the starfish represents the Virgin Mary (Stella Maris) Star of the Sea.  In the Egyptian myth the starfish is connected to Isis, she is friend and mother to the impoverished, to the enslaved, those in dire need and she is guardian to troubled seafarers.

Because starfish can regrow lost limbs, they symbolize renewal, resilience, and the ability to overcome challenges and regenerate what was lost..
